About the NICASIO CUSTOM SE Frame Performance (Chromoly Frame)

The "NICASIO CUSTOM SE" frame is made of chromoly, a material that offers superior vibration absorption and durability compared to the more common aluminum frame.
While it is heavier than an aluminum cross bike, making it less suited for speedy rides, it offers a mellow riding experience that smooths out road vibrations ◎
However, even if it's not ideal for speedy rides, it's still faster than a typical city bike, so caution is advised.

The geometry is designed with a slightly lower center of gravity. This also prioritizes stability over acceleration.

While the head tube itself is designed to be a bit shorter, the promenade handlebar and ample steerer tube length, as mentioned earlier, allow for an upright and relaxed riding position.
Models labeled as "fast cross bikes" often force a forward-leaning posture. While riding at speed can be incredibly fun, it's tough to do every day when you're tired from work and on your way home.

The basic specifications are a 1x8 speed Shimano ALTUS model.
While common cross bikes typically feature 2 or 3 front gears, the NICASIO CUSTOM SE bravely opts for a single chainring. This is recommended for city use with fewer hills, as it reduces maintenance risks ◎

The brakes are mechanical (cable-actuated) disc brakes. While many cross bikes for daily use nowadays feature hydraulic disc brakes, the NICASIO CUSTOM SE, unfortunately, has mechanical brakes, which are a step below.
However, mechanical brakes do have their advantages, and for daily use, their specifications are more than sufficient. It doesn't feel like a significant downgrade.
