The "all-road" category is highly recommended for a first bike.

The all-road category excels at handling everything seamlessly. Even if you initially think you want to ride fast on a road bike, this excellent model will adapt if you discover you're more into touring as you get more acquainted with it!

About the frame performance of VIA NIRONE7 DISC

The center of gravity is slightly higher than current trends, contributing to easier starting and climbing.

The head tube length also has plenty of room, making it an upright design friendly to beginners.

The overall frame molding gives an impression more of a classic aluminum frame than a sharp one.
The welds are well reinforced, and the chainstays are sharply flattened.
The frame effectively absorbs vertical vibrations from the ground while boosting pedaling efficiency, resulting in a propulsive ride.

One difference from the rim brake model is the tire clearance, which supports up to 40mm. This design allows you to ride without worrying about rough roads or small bumps.

Additionally, eyelets are provided on the seatstays and front fork, allowing for the installation of racks and fenders!
With a sturdy welded frame and wider tires, expandability for carrying luggage is desired. The design caters to such users, which is a welcome point. It can be said to be a versatile specification, even if it's not quite a gravel road bike!

A point to note is the wheel attachment of the VIA NIRONE 7 DISC. While the front uses a thru-axle, the rear has a quick release specification.
It is possible to convert the rear to a thru-axle by replacing the rear dropout, but please be aware of this when purchasing! *It is compatible with the rear dropout of the previous VIA NIRONE ALL ROAD. However, if replaced, it will void the manufacturer's complete bike quality warranty.

The complete bike's actual weight is 10.58kg (530 size), which might feel a bit heavy for a road bike, but considering it's an all-road bike with wider tires, I think it's sufficiently lightweight!
About the Parts Configuration of VIA NIRONE7 DISC

The basic groupset uses Shimano SORA (2×9 speed).

Even though it's an entry-level model, the specifications are more than adequate for daily use and cycling.

The crank appears to be a mix of Shimano FD R3000 and hollow-shaft cranks. While the official website states Shimano FD R3000, please note that some production batches may feature hollow-shaft specifications.
There isn't a significant performance difference, but if you're concerned, please visit the store to confirm. *We cannot accept orders specifying which crank is used, as it cannot be confirmed without opening the box.

The brakes are Shimano's flat-mount mechanical disc brakes. It's great that Bianchi chose Shimano components for this part, which is often a cost-cutting area on entry-level road bikes.

The bike comes standard with 700x32c tires, which are wider than typical road bike tires. This specification enhances cushioning and grip.

Impressions after test riding the VIA NIRONE7 DISC

The basic ride feel was not significantly different from the rim brake model, VIA NIRONE7!
It has a moderate stiffness, typical of aluminum, that allows for rhythmic pedaling, and the acceleration feels good. However, it's not overly rigid; it feels like a proper entry-level aluminum road bike.

The upright riding position reduces strain on the upper body and makes handling easier.
It's not just comfortable for relaxed riding, but also a reliable road bike that allows you to react with ease in unexpected situations.
The disc brake model also features wider tires, providing excellent cushioning and stability.

It's a well-balanced road bike, not overly specialized in any one area, so it will serve as a good benchmark when you eventually upgrade to a new road bike.
You'll be able to choose a model that suits your preferences and goals, whether you want a road bike that "can go fast," one that's "good for climbing hills," or one for "relaxed long rides," etc.!
