Framesets, often sold as "build-your-own" kits, can be stylish, but there are few opportunities to test ride them.

DAVOS D604 Ver.2 (Eirin Imadegawa Kyodai-mae Annex Custom)

First up is our original custom build of the DAVOS Neo Randナー D604 Ver.2!

The D604 Ver.2 is a chromoly frame from DAVOS that can be enjoyed for a wide range of uses, from gravel to touring.

It features a classic Randonneur-esque design with a slightly higher center of gravity. This Neo Randonneur combines traditional Randonneur design with modern features, allowing for the attachment of carriers, racks, and other accessories!

It's compatible with internally routed dropper seatposts and electronic groupsets like Di2. The slider end allows for customizable ride feel.

This frame offers a very wide range of capabilities!

The front fork is a carbon fork with numerous eyelets.

About the parts configuration of DAVOS D604 Ver.2

The parts configuration was chosen with the concept of "famous parts that are rarely encountered" in mind!

The main groupset is microSHIFT Sword (1x10 speed).

While Shimano and SRAM reign as top components, opportunities to get hands-on with other brands' components are quite rare!

I imagine many people have only heard rumors about affordable components, so I decided to install them!

The brakes are Growtac's much-talked-about EQUAL (mechanical disc brakes).

Many of you may have already tried EQUAL, but when it comes to mechanical disc brakes, you just can't help but choose these, right? (laughs)

Next, for the drivetrain...

The wheel hubs also feature Growtac's EQUAL! This was a choice that the staff absolutely wanted to include (and try out for themselves).

After producing such a talked-about brake, it's only natural to want to try out their hubs when they're released!

The rims are Velocity Aileron. These are excellent rims that strike a balance between design and performance. They're lightweight, tubeless-ready, and highly versatile for road biking, dirt riding, and more, making them a top recommendation!

The tires chosen are GOODYEAR County Ultimate Tubeless Complete (700x40c). With a slick center and side knobs, these are versatile tires often favored by gravel riders for on-road use!

The handlebars are VELOCI's CHEERS BAR

The stem uses RITCHEY C220. A stiff specification for handling control on rough roads.

White Industries was chosen for the headset! Even for a test bike, you want that sense of ownership! It's about nailing even the subtle details!

The saddle is ERGON SR Allroad Core Comp. The seatpost is a VELOCI dropper seatpost.

The saddle was chosen to be accessible to everyone. After all, it's a test bike... it's hard to pick something too unusual.💦

The seatpost is a dropper seatpost with 50mm travel, which is ideal for road bikes. It's just the right amount of travel for a gravel road bike!

Although we intentionally chose parts that are rarely encountered, I think the specifications fit the frame concept perfectly!

Impressions after test riding the DAVOS D604 Ver.2

Overall, it feels like a really well-made Neo Randonneur!

Honestly, while it may not offer sharp handling, its cruising ability and stability are excellent, making it perfectly suitable for Randonneur use!

The design also feels cohesive, so I think it's a satisfying test bike!

It's a great model for anyone who wants to test ride the DAVOS D604 Ver.2, and also for those who want to try out the parts they've been curious about!

About the parts configuration of YOELEO R11 DB SL

In stark contrast to the DAVOS mentioned above, the concept for the YOELEO R11 DB SL was "to allow riders to fully appreciate its ride feel," so the parts configuration is kept simple and straightforward!

The main groupset is Shimano 105 Di2 (2x12 speed)

By using Shimano 105, the gateway groupset for road bikes, we want you to fully enjoy the YOELEO without any distractions!

The handlebars are the "H9 integrated handlebars" sold as a set with the frame. These handlebars offer surprisingly high performance for a set product. They are designed for stiffness and aerodynamic efficiency!

We also chose YOELEO's "SAT C38 | 38 PRO" wheels. YOELEO wheels have garnered more attention than the frames themselves. They are quite cost-effective carbon wheels!

I believe these specifications will allow you to fully experience the high quality of YOELEO's carbon!

Impressions from test riding the YOELEO R11 DB SL

In a word, the R11 DB SL gives the impression of an "all-rounder aero road bike." Rather than an overly rigid frame, it offers a well-balanced stiffness that even beginners can comfortably push.

While aero road bikes often have a reputation for being less versatile, the R11 DB SL seems like a road bike that you can have a lot of fun with in various ways.

And YOELEO's integrated handlebars and wheels offer surprisingly high performance for their price, boosting the riding performance.
