About the KONA ROVE ST DL Frame Design

The ROVE series started as "FREE RANGE BIKE". Among the series, the particularly popular "ROVE ST DL" is a gravel bike made of sturdy chromoly.

The front fork, like the frame, is made of chromoly. It has a significant number of eyelets, making it fully capable of carrying luggage. Additionally, its tapered steerer tube makes it easy to switch to a carbon fork later on!

About the KONA ROVE ST DL Component Configuration

The basic specifications of the ROVE ST DL feature SRAM RIVAL1 (1x11 speed). This front single drivetrain is a well-regarded gravel component◎

With a 40T front and a 42T rear low gear, the gear ratio is approximately 0.95, configured with gravel climbing in mind.

The tires are MAXXIS RAMBLER 650x47b. Their high air volume and semi-knobby tread provide exceptional stability, regardless of road conditions or load capacity◎

With a tire clearance that barely fits 27.5x2.1, almost like an MTB, customization for more off-road enjoyment or for a 700c wheel for better cruising is also possible◎

The handlebars are flared, as is typical for gravel bikes. The stem length is also set to be short, indicating a design focused on handle control on rough terrain◎

The brakes come standard with TRP's HY-ROAD hybrid hydraulic disc brake calipers. In addition to reliable braking power, they offer the benefit of easy maintenance during rides, as traditional cable operation can still be used◎
