Main Component (Shimano GRX)

The basic specification uses Shimano GRX400 (2x10 speed).

Rear 11-34T, Front 48/32T, wide ratio specification◎

For gravel bikes, a single front chainring is popular. This is because a simpler setup has advantages in avoiding chain and shifting problems.

However, for rides with many paved roads, you might want higher speeds. Also, for long rides in Japan which always include hill climbs, a double front chainring with lighter gears has its advantages.

Braking performance (hydraulic disc brakes)

The brakes are flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes. The wheel attachment is a 12mm thru-axle, which is a perfect modern specification.

Tires (WTB Riddler 700×37c)

The tires are WTB Riddler (700×37c).

The tread pattern, with its small, scattered knobs, provides excellent grip on gravel courses while also offering nimble performance on paved roads.
