The ST-R8170 features an evolved ergonomic design based on feedback from professional riders. The raised upper portion of the bracket improves stability in the aero position, ensuring comfortable operation even during long rides.

The BR-R8170 caliper has increased pad clearance, reducing rotor rub. Furthermore, it delivers excellent braking control and modulation performance with its SERVOWAVE mechanism, enabling reliable braking at high speeds and on long descents.

Being a J-Kit specification, the levers, calipers, and hoses are all included as a set, making it ideal for introducing or upgrading to a Di2 hydraulic disc system.
