Developed to conquer America's toughest ultra-long-distance off-road races, the CUTTHROAT C GRX 600 1X is a drop bar MTB that combines long-duration comfort with excellent off-road capability. Its design incorporates features throughout to support multi-day journeys over rough gravel, forest roads, and singletrack.
The lightweight Cutthroat Carbon frame features Salsa's proprietary Class 5™ VRS. This system efficiently absorbs small vibrations from the road surface, reducing fatigue accumulation even during long rides. Furthermore, the long wheelbase design with a 69° head angle and 445mm chainstays ensures stable performance from high-speed cruising to technical off-road terrain.
With clearance for tires up to 29×2.4 inches and abundant cargo mounts, it maintains natural handling even when loaded with gear. It truly excels in long-distance rides such as touring, bikepacking, and adventure races.
The Shimano GRX 600 1× drivetrain offers both simple operation and a wide gear range. It provides the reliability and ease of use required for long-distance riding.
