The biggest evolution is the newly adopted triple-sealed bearings. Refreshing the conventional cup-and-cone structure, it achieves surprisingly smooth rotation performance and maintenance-free operation.
The wide tread and low-friction bearings also reduce fatigue during long rides. It is highly compatible not only with touring but also with urban commuters who prioritize comfort.
Furthermore, it is over 50g lighter than conventional models, and the stack height is designed to be lower. Pedaling efficiency is also improved, allowing for a more natural transfer of power.
The mirror-finished aluminum body also offers excellent quality. It elegantly blends with everything from classic chromoly touring bikes to modern commuters.
