It achieves approximately 45% faster front shifting performance compared to the previous generation, making it Shimano's fastest shifting ever. This allows for smooth and precise shifting even under high load or during race-pace riding.
In addition, the overall unit has been significantly compacted, reducing the frontal area by approximately 33%. This also achieves a lighter weight, providing a high-level balance of aerodynamic and shifting performance.
