KONA UNIT | A rigid single-speed MTB for ultimate simplicity
A bike stripped down to the essentials, leaving only the joy of riding.
The KONA UNIT combines a rigid fork with a single speed, prioritizing trouble-free operation and ease of use.
The frame is made of Reynolds 520 Butted Cromoly, offering the supple ride quality and high durability characteristic of chromoly. Thanks to its simple construction, this MTB allows riders to directly experience the feel of the road and the pleasure of pedaling.
Despite its minimalist structure, the frame and fork feature numerous mounts. This allows for a wide range of styles, from bikepacking setups to daily commuting and trail riding, depending on your imagination.
The standard sliding modular dropouts allow for both single-speed setups and future upgrades to geared drivetrains. This means you can enjoy not just riding it as is, but also the fun of customizing it to your liking over time.
This 29er MTB reminds us of the joy found in simplicity.

The UNIT is a model that reminds us of the fundamental joy of "riding and playing" with an MTB.
Its very simple construction means easy maintenance, and the ability to focus on the trail without worrying about breakdowns is a major appeal. By not relying on gears or suspension, you can truly experience the connection with the ground and the sensation of propelling yourself forward.
With plenty of mounting points, it's great for setting up as a bikepacking rig, or you can simply enjoy it as a light trail bike.
Beyond just riding it as a complete bike, the UNIT's depth allows you to gradually customize it to your liking, which is another charming aspect. It's an MTB we highly recommend to anyone looking for a bike to grow with over a long time.
