About the MARIN NICASIO 2 Frame Performance
The NICASIO 2 frame uses "SERIES 2 CRMO" double-butted chromoly, a higher-grade material within MARIN BIKES.
The geometry of the MARIN BIKES is unique in that it is more road bike-oriented. While MARIN BIKES often focuses on traversing vast American roads with a lower center of gravity, the NICASIO 2 has a center of gravity closer to that of a road bike, making it well-suited for Japan's hilly terrain.
Furthermore, the seat stay weld position is slightly lower, contributing to better responsiveness.
Despite being a gravel road bike, the NICASIO 2's specifications don't compromise on paved roads, which is a welcome feature for Japanese riders!

The brakes are also Shimano Tiagra hydraulic disc brakes.
