Functional for touring and city riding. A "rear rack" with an atmospheric design using a natural bamboo top plate.
As expected from "PORTLAND DESIGN WORKS (aka PDW)". They've released a line of cool racks with a truly exquisite balance!
It's a truly cool finish, with beautiful matte aluminum tubing and a natural bamboo top plate.
Compared to typical racks, the top plate is narrower on the left and right, giving it a sleek design. With less protrusion to the sides, it pairs very well with frames like cross bikes, cyclocross bikes, and gravel road bikes.
Furthermore, the pannier hooks are offset outwards, so even with panniers attached, the bamboo rack part can be effectively utilized.
It's also a great match for pannier bags like the [BlackBurn] BARRIER CITY PANNIER!
The mounting bar is positioned lower than the top plate. This lowers the center of gravity of your luggage, providing excellent stability.
The end part is offset backward. It seems easy to install even on bikes with disc brakes on the seat stay.
By the way, this end can be installed by sandwiching it with a quick release even if the frame does not have eyelets.
It's a perfect match for the [BREEZER] DOPPLER CAFE 2018 model!
