A smart-looking rear rack that suits chromoly frame bikes, including road bikes, cyclocross bikes, gravel road bikes, and of course, flat-bar road bikes and randoneurs for city cruising.
While the top plate of popular rear racks (carriers) is typically 15cm wide, this model features a narrower top plate of about 7cm.
Although it limits the carrying capacity on the top plate, it pairs exceptionally well with bicycles featuring thin frame tubing, such as chromoly frames. ◎
While there is no manufacturer recommendation, the load capacity is likely around 10kg.
The "On The Road Rack" by SIM WORKS by NITTO has a similar silhouette, but this one has a more streamlined shape.

When pannier bags are attached to the top plate, it looks something like this ↑↑.
If you attach it to the second pipe from the top, the bag itself will be positioned lower, creating space on the top plate.
You can adjust the mounting position to your liking!
The R-26's pipes are made of hollow chromoly.

Mounting bands are included as standard, which is great for bikes without bolt mounts on the seatstays. The seatstay mounting offers an adjustment range of about 50mm, allowing for fine-tuning of the position. ◎
Additionally, the end features six holes, allowing for adjustment to various wheel sizes (26inch to 700c).
The NITTO R-26 is recommended for those who find popular carriers a bit too clunky.
