A Staggered Frame Designed to Feel at Home in the City

The Trove features a steel staggered frame that combines a relaxed, upright riding position with a soft, approachable appearance that blends naturally into the city.

It is available in two calm and welcoming colors. Both Fog Blue and Pale Gray pair easily with everyday clothing and reflect our idea of a bicycle as a practical part of daily life.

Practical Without Being Defined by Utility

The Trove is not designed around appearance alone. It also includes the practical features needed for everyday use.

• 26×1.95-inch semi-knobby tires provide confidence over curbs, rough pavement, and unpaved roads
• Mounting points for racks, fenders, and a bottle cage come as standard
• A single-leg center stand is included and can be replaced with a double-leg stand
• microSHIFT and Shimano 1×6-speed drivetrain

It offers just the right amount of adaptability for everyday use, while delivering a sense of enjoyment that a conventional utility bike cannot provide.

Simply getting from one place to another feels like a missed opportunity. That is why the Trove uses slightly wider 26×1.95-inch tires.

Rather than the 26-inch WO wheels commonly found on traditional Japanese city bikes, we deliberately chose the 26-inch HE standard used for mountain bikes. Although the overall wheel diameter is similar, the wider and taller tires hold more air, producing supple cushioning and reliable grip.

They roll comfortably not only over smooth city asphalt, but also over construction-damaged roads, riverside gravel paths, and small curbs. The added cushioning also reduces strain on the hips and lower back, making spontaneous detours and longer routes feel much more inviting.

For riders in Japan who want one bike for city streets and light off-road riding, this wheel size is particularly well suited. Its manageable proportions and easy handling fit naturally with the average height and build of many Japanese riders.

A city-focused bicycle using 26-inch HE wheels is actually quite unusual. The Trove’s combination of an everyday city-bike format with mountain-bike tires gives familiar daily rides a slightly more special character.

From the crank and rims to the grips, each component was selected with the idea of adding a thoughtful little detail.
Even so, the price remains a realistic ¥52,800 including tax, making the Trove easy to welcome into everyday life.

The first time I rode the Trove, my immediate impression was simply, “This feels good.”
The reassuring stability of its 26-inch semi-knobby tires combines with a light, comfortable start, while the tires smoothly absorb small bumps in the road.
It is not designed for steep climbs, but on city streets with frequent traffic lights, its straightforward gearing feels natural and easy to manage. Both the pace of the bike and the rhythm of the ride feel comfortably matched to everyday life.

The swept-back promenade handlebar and longer head tube create a natural riding position and support a relaxed experience.
There is also a pleasantly unhurried quality to the ride, almost as though every trip has become a small journey.
