From "Long Ride" to "All-Purpose" — FARNA's Design Philosophy Revitalized

KhodaaBloom's endurance road bike "FARNA," which had established an image of "long rides = FARNA," has undergone a complete redesign for the 2026 model year.
It has been reborn as an "all-rounder" that transcends the endurance category, capable of handling all types of riding scenarios.

Compared to the previous model, the head tube length is slightly shorter, allowing for a more aggressive riding position.
However, as an entry-level model, the steerer tube still has sufficient length, allowing for an upright position through spacer adjustments.

Looking at these details, the new FARNA feels like it's not just a model change, but a bike with acompletely transformed character.
From "long-ride focused" to "a nimble all-rounder covering everything from city riding to winding roads." It seems well-suited for both those new to road biking and those looking for a change in their riding experience.

The 2026 FARNA series utilizes the same frame across all grades.
Among them, only the FARNA introduced in this article features an aluminum front fork.
For those considering future custom upgrades, the "FARNA SL" series, which features a carbon front fork, is more highly recommended. For those looking to enhance riding performance, the SL will likely offer a more noticeable custom effect.
On the other hand, FARNA is the perfect model for those who "want to enjoy a little customization" or "will never customize."

Sufficient Specifications for a "First Bike"

FARNA's basic specifications feature Shimano Claris (2x8 speed).

It's easy to handle for a first road bike and can accommodate a wide range of uses, from daily rides to weekend long rides, making it an ideal "entry-level" setup.
While keeping the price down, it offers reliable shifting performance and a sufficient number of gears, making it a very well-balanced option for a debut sports bike.

Furthermore, many comparable models from other brands in the same price range often replace brake calipers and cranks with unbranded parts to cut costs.
However, the FARNA maintains consistency with Shimano Claris for its brakes and cranks, offering a reliable and reassuring specification configuration.
Such attention to detail is a welcome feature, particularly from a Japanese brand.

Experiencing the New FARNA's Transformation through an Exhibition Test Ride

I attended the KhodaaBloom 2026 model exhibition and had the opportunity to test ride the bikes! (The photo shows the higher-grade FARNA SL).
What struck me immediately upon riding it was that it felt like an entirely different bike from the previous model.
Honestly, I thought, "Could they have changed the model name?" — that's how much the impression of FARNA has changed.

The new FARNA can be described in one word as an "all-rounder road bike" that's easy for anyone to understand.
The lightness in starting and the exhilarating acceleration were impressive, making it a perfectly enjoyable choice for a first bike.

Previously, FARNA had a strong character as an endurance road bike designed for comfortable long rides, and its acceleration performance was somewhat mild.
However, the 2026 model significantly enhances acceleration, responsiveness, and agility, firmly stepping into the realm of "pure road" bikes.
Nevertheless, while maintaining its position as an entry-level model, it preserves its ease of handling with a sensible geometry and specification. Its greatest appeal lies in its wide "range" – from racy riding to long-distance comfort – which can be adjusted with future customization.
This is a bike that can be confidently recommended to those who are "still unsure about how they want to enjoy road cycling."

Its flexibility allows it to handle both sporty riding and leisurely long weekend rides with equal pleasure.
It's a model that will support you until you find your "preferred riding style."
