The Horizon was born as a flagship model representing WTB's "Road Plus" concept. Despite its voluminous 650B x 47C size, it's a popular tire that achieves nimble rolling performance thanks to its full-slick tread.
On paved roads, it delivers a surprisingly smooth acceleration and cruising performance for its appearance, while also providing the comfortable ride unique to wide tires. It naturally handles rough road sections and bumps, reducing fatigue during long rides.
Furthermore, the low contact pressure provided by its 47mm width offers excellent stability on flat dirt roads and forest paths, making it suitable for gravel riding. It's the perfect tire for riders who primarily ride on paved roads but occasionally want to venture off-road.
