VILLAGE GREEN RIDE 2025｜RIDE / HIKE, FOOD, MARKET & CAMP

A one-day special event combining a ride, hike, market, and camp, enjoyed in the satoyama (rural landscape) of Kyoto!
This is a special experience to explore "Kyoto beyond the tourist spots" by bike or on foot. The goal is Takagamine Mercato, a "sky outdoor restaurant," making this an outdoor event where all five senses can be enjoyed.

Experience Kyoto's nature firsthand, meet vendors, enjoy delicious food, and even camp under the stars at night. Enjoy a relaxed yet profound day at your own pace, open to everyone.

Agreement for participation in VILLAGE GREEN Ride

I agree to participate in the event at my own risk as a rider, acknowledging that accidents due to falls, collisions, or contact could lead to serious injury, including death, for myself, other participants, or third parties.

I confirm that I have the required equipment for participation and that my bicycle is in proper condition.

I confirm that I am in appropriate health for riding.

As I agree to participate at my own risk, I agree not to pursue liability or claim damages from any parties involved, other participants, or third parties for any issues arising from the event.

I will not disclose any prohibited information on SNS/blogs based on the information disclosure rules (internet/SNS) set by the organizer.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for any accidents, injuries, or other troubles within the parking lot, and I agree not to pursue liability or claim damages from any parties involved, other participants, or third parties.

*After completing your entry, we will contact all participants by email to ask for your "Name," "Bicycle overview," and "Emergency contact information."
　This information is essential for the safe operation of the event. We appreciate your cooperation.

*We will manage your personal information responsibly.

*The entry fee includes the meal after the ride and ride insurance.

*Due to the nature of this event, which involves food, we regret to inform you that we cannot refund the entry fee even if the ride event is canceled due to bad weather. Thank you for your understanding.

Bad weather cancellation decision time and confirmation method

If the ride is canceled, an announcement will be made by approximately 23:00 on Saturday, September 20, on the official website blog, all SNS channels, and LINE chat.

We will set up a LINE Open Chat "VillageGreenRide 2025" as a tool for information sharing, questions, and communication. (The chat participation code will be provided only to participants after entry is complete.)

Please use this chat to ask any questions you have about participating, and also as a tool for participants to share photos on the day.

If you need to cancel suddenly due to feeling unwell, concerns about riding in bad weather, etc., please contact us via the LINE chat mentioned above.

*Please make your entry with common sense, ensuring no sudden absences without contact.

*Please have your bicycle inspected for safety in advance.

We're doing it again this year! This event has it all: ride, hike, market, and camp. While it's a cycling event, it's not about competing for speed or strength.

It's a day to enjoy Kyoto's nature and local culture. With a support car, even beginners can feel at ease, and it's okay to hop in the car if you get tired (laughs).

We, the staff, will also enjoy ourselves with you in the "exact middle of urban and nature." I'm also really looking forward to the food after we reach the goal. Let's make some wonderful memories together!

◆Returns and Exchanges

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after it arrives.

Parts, apparel, accessories, and other cycling goods may be returned or exchanged. Return and reshipping costs are covered either by the customer or by our store, depending on the circumstances.
Complete bicycles cannot be returned or exchanged for reasons of customer preference. We will only accept returns in the event of a product defect or damage during delivery.

◆“In-store Stock” and “Special Order” Items

“In-store Stock” items are currently available at an Eirin store or in our warehouse. Each item will be inspected before being dispatched.
“Special Order” items are ordered from the manufacturer or an authorized Japanese distributor. After the item arrives, we conduct a final inspection before dispatch.

※If “In-store Stock” is unavailable, please select “Special Order.” We will contact you by email once the item has arrived from the supplier.
※If the manufacturer or distributor is also out of stock, the item cannot currently be purchased. Select the “Notify me when available” button to receive a restock notification.

◆From Order to Delivery

From order confirmation to delivery

※① If an item is out of stock, we will contact you by email and ask whether you would like to change or cancel the item.
※② Items cannot be added, changed, or cancelled after the order has been confirmed.
※③ Once your order has been dispatched, we will email you with the shipping confirmation and tracking number.

◆Shipping Carrier

Orders are generally shipped by Seino Transportation.
Another shipping carrier may be used depending on the contents of your order or the delivery area.

◆Pickup at Eirin Stores in Kyoto City

Shipping is free when you collect your order from one of our street-front stores in Kyoto City.
Complete bicycles generally require approximately 1-2 weeks for assembly and inspection before pickup.
Some parts and apparel are stored in our warehouse and may require approximately 1-5 days before they are ready for pickup.

※Due to system limitations, the following payment methods are available for store pickup orders:
Shop Pay, Credit Card, Bank Transfer, and JACCS Financing
Customers wishing to use another payment method should select standard delivery instead of store pickup.

◆Pickup at a Seino Transportation Branch

Seino Transportation branch pickup service

※Shipping for complete bicycles is free when the bicycle is collected from an eligible Seino Transportation branch.

This service is available only for complete bicycles. Parts, cycling goods, apparel, and accessories are not eligible.
For purchases under ¥55,000 including tax and excluding payment fees, the shipping charge is reduced to half of the standard rate.
Different charges apply to Hokkaido, Okinawa, and remote islands. These charges are still lower than residential delivery rates.
