TRUVATIV XX Crankset (2x10S) | Lightweight and High Rigidity MTB High-End Crank
A TRUVATIV high-rigidity 2x10-specific MTB crankset designed with racing in mind.
The TRUVATIV "XX Crankset" is a high-end MTB model designed to achieve both lightweight performance and high drive rigidity.
In addition to its structure combining carbon crank arms and an aluminum spider, the chainrings are made from 6mm thick 7075 aluminum using CNC machining. Furthermore, the large BCD design and two-piece insert molded carbon composite structure provide direct response and high rigidity the moment you step on the pedal.
The 42/28T gear configuration is a practical combination that allows for climbing while also being suitable for XC riding and high-speed cruising. As a high-end part from the now-rare 2x10S generation, it is also recommended for upgrading lightweight MTBs and XC bikes from that era.
This is a used model, so there are signs of use and minor scratches, but it still offers plenty of performance to enjoy.

This crank truly embodies "the balance of lightness and rigidity" characteristic of high-end MTBs of its time.
The response, especially when pedaling, is quite direct, making it an excellent match for XC bikes. The wide range of usability unique to the 2x10 generation is still appealing today.
While 1x setups are common now, for those who prefer the fine-tuned gear selection offered by a double front chainring, this configuration remains quite attractive.
This is a recommended piece for restoring lightweight MTBs or for those who want to build a bike with high-end parts from that era.
