A dedicated mount for neatly and securely attaching a wire basket.

When adding a front basket to a cross bike or city bike, the appearance and stability of the attachment are important points. SHOWA INDUSTRIES' advans+f MCA-N-R is a dedicated part of the ADVANS+f front mounting system, compatible with bikes equipped with caliper brakes.

It is designed to be mounted using the fork crown hole and hub axle, and the leg length can be adjusted using adjustment fittings. Since the handlebars are not used as a fixing point, it is easy to use regardless of whether the bike has a threaded stem or an A-head stem.

This mount is necessary when you want to attach an ADVANS+f compatible basket to a cross bike with caliper brakes or a city-oriented sports bike. Since it doesn't attach to the handlebars, it's also good for maintaining a clean appearance around the handlebars.

The basket itself is sold separately, so please be sure to combine it with an item compatible with the FRONT MOUNT SYSTEM R type. It's also a good idea to check the shape of the fork crown hole and the area around the hub axle on your bike beforehand.
