The Woodchipper is Salsa's signature off-road specific drop bar. Its unique three-dimensional bend, unlike typical road bars, allows for a dramatically wider drop section while maintaining a shallow 114mm drop.

The leverage created by the 25° flare and 38° drop angle is exceptional. It provides a stable feeling that allows you to control the bike with your body, even on rough dirt and rocky descents.

Due to its unique shape, setup requires a little bit of finesse. By setting the brakes/shifters slightly downward, the drops will be angled 20-25° downward, creating a natural and powerful riding position.

The Deluxe uses 7050-T6 aluminum, combining lightweight and high strength. It also offers expandability to accommodate Anything Cradles and aero bars.

The Woodchipper is a handlebar that, once you get used to it, you won't be able to do without. The drops become incredibly wide, and the front-end stability on rough surfaces is outstanding.
