The exquisite balance of gel and cork gently reduces fatigue on long rides.
On long rides, the cumulative vibration transmitted from the handlebars leads to fatigue. SALSA CYCLES GEL CORK TAPE enhances comfort by combining the natural feel of cork with the cushioning of gel.
It absorbs minor road vibrations while achieving an exquisite feel that isn't overly soft. It supports comfortable handling in a wide range of situations, from commuting and school to weekend long rides and gravel rides.
Another attractive feature is the wide variety of colors available, allowing you to coordinate with the overall look of your bike. It naturally blends with everything from classic chromoly bikes to modern gravel bikes.
Two rolls of bar tape for both sides and bar end plugs are included, making it ready for installation on standard road-style handlebars.

While it's a classic cork bar tape, the addition of gel provides a higher class of comfort. It seems to alleviate hand fatigue not only from minor vibrations on paved roads but also during gravel rides.
Since it doesn't add too much bulk, the area around the brifters remains neat, and there's less discomfort when changing hand positions. The balance between appearance and comfort is excellent, making it a highly recommended model for first-time bar tape replacement.
