By attaching it to your handlebars, you gain an additional forward hand position different from your usual grip. This is useful when you want to maintain an efficient cruising speed while minimizing air resistance, such as when riding into a headwind or on flat terrain at a steady pace.

The enlarged extension features a multi-faceted shape that makes it easy to grip in multiple places. This allows you to change your hand and arm positions, reducing fatigue during long-distance touring and endurance events where you tend to maintain the same posture for extended periods.

The center section has a 22.2mm diameter, allowing you to attach compatible GPS mounts, lights, and other accessories.
