PAPERSKY's "Tour de Nippon" project explores the unique charms of various regions across Japan. The graphics born from these travels have been used to create this special Travel Towel, dyed using the traditional "chusen" technique by Kamawanu, a leading tenugui specialty store in Japan.

The design was created by product designer Kenko Sato. Landscapes and cultures unique to each region, such as the bonito fishing in Yaizu, tea plantations in Shizuoka, and the grid-patterned streets of Kyoto, are beautifully expressed.

Tenugui are ancient Japanese travel tools, excellent for absorbency and quick-drying, and can be carried compactly. They can be used for various purposes, such as wiping sweat, wrapping around the neck, or for camping and cycling trips.

The soft colors unique to the chusen dyeing method and the texture that deepens with use are also appealing. It's a piece that naturally blends into daily life, as well as being a perfect memento of a trip.
