NITTO SYNC BAR XL | Wide Riser Bar for More Playful Trail Riding

From local trails to bike parks. A BLUE LUG special-order 800mm wide bar designed to bring out the fun of handling your bike.

Picking lines on your local trails, trying jumps at the bike park, or simply enjoying the feeling of moving the bike beneath you. The NITTO SYNC BAR XL was created for riders who want to get the most out of that playful, dynamic side of mountain biking.

With a 50mm rise and a distinctive bend designed around modern MTB geometry, it creates a slightly higher, easy-to-control riding position. It works naturally on mountain bikes, but is also a great option for fixed-gear bikes, flat-bar gravel bikes, and other builds where you want to add a more active, playful feel.

Features

A special-order NITTO model developed from feedback by BLUE LUG’s “Monthly Mountain Cycling Club”
800mm width and 50mm rise provide a wide, high-rise position for confident bike control
Strong upsweep and up to 19° of backsweep create a distinctive shape that makes it easy to settle naturally into the grips

SPEC

Material: Aluminum
Width: 800mm / Clamp Diameter: 31.8mm / Grip Diameter: 22.2mm
Inner Diameter: Approx. 17mm / Rise: 50mm / Backsweep: Up to 19° / MADE IN JAPAN

Compared with a typical low, flat MTB handlebar, the SYNC BAR XL brings your hands slightly higher and closer, making it easier to get a feel for lifting the front wheel and moving the bike beneath you. It is especially worth trying for riders who want to explore more playful trail riding.

At 800mm wide, we recommend trying it at full width first to find your preferred position. Beyond MTB use, it is also an interesting choice for giving a gravel bike or fixed-gear build a more playful and distinctive character.
