A Smarter Way to Dry Your Socks, Inspired by Hikers.

  • A dedicated hole at the cuff allows the socks to be attached to a carabiner. This feature was inspired by the real-life practice of long-distance hikers hanging wet socks from their tents or backpacks to dry. Instead of cutting a hole with a knife, these socks are designed to be hung from the start. Dry your wet socks, put them back on, and continue down the trail in comfort. It is a small detail that can make a long journey much more enjoyable. *Carabiner not included.

The Natural Comfort of Wool, Made for Everyday Wear.

  • Made with machine-washable merino wool for easy everyday care. Its excellent moisture management and thermal insulation help prevent chills caused by perspiration while protecting your feet from cold outside air. Merino wool also offers natural odor resistance, helping the socks stay comfortable and fresh even during extended wear. A dependable wool sock for both outdoor adventures and everyday life.

Built to Withstand the Miles.

Long-distance hiking demands socks that are tough, comfortable, and dependable. By blending merino wool with nylon and polyester and using a pile-knit construction, these socks achieve an excellent balance of durability, flexibility, and cushioning. In abrasion testing, they achieved approximately: ・3,300 cycles at the toe and heel ・2,800 cycles underfoot These results comfortably exceed the standard performance requirements for sports socks. Built to remain dependable through demanding journeys, this is a pair of trail socks designed to meet the needs of serious hikers.

Proven Over 5,000km of Real-World Trail Testing.

  • In 2017, HIKER TRASH socks were field-tested by professional hiker SKETCH, Ryosuke Kawato, on the approximately 5,000km Continental Divide Trail, widely regarded as one of the most demanding of America’s three major long-distance trails. Whenever damage occurred during the journey, feedback was shared with the development team in Japan and the design was improved. Created on the trail and refined through real-world use, these socks were developed as genuine gear for long-distance hikers. Every step of that journey is reflected in the reliability and performance of the finished product.
