MKS FD-7 | Durable Folding Pedals for Smart Bike Travel and Storage
One-touch folding. MKS's classic folding pedal, offering a firm pedal feel and easy portability.
Make your folding bike more comfortable and smarter.
The "FD-7" from MKS / Mikashima Industrial Co., Ltd., a long-established Japanese pedal brand, is a highly durable aluminum folding pedal that folds quickly and easily with a two-action mechanism.
Simply press the button in the center of the body and pull the cage to fold it compactly. This reduces the width during bike travel or indoor storage, making it highly compatible with folding bikes such as Brompton, Tern, DAHON, and CarryMe.
Despite having a folding mechanism, it offers a stable and secure pedaling feel. The rigid feel of the aluminum body and the easy-to-use double-sided design support comfortable pedaling from city rides to daily commutes.
Furthermore, it comes standard with reflectors to enhance visibility during night riding. Beyond practicality, its rugged yet beautiful MKS-like design is also attractive.
These Japanese-made folding pedals offer more than just convenience; they deliver excellent riding performance.

Folding pedals often have the image of being "convenient but difficult to pedal," but the FD-7 is quite solid.
In particular, the rigidity when pedaling is excellent, offering a sense of security similar to regular pedals for city riding. The pedaling feel is surprisingly natural for a folding mechanism.
Not having the pedals protrude during bike travel alone is quite comfortable, and I think you'll really appreciate its effects in narrow entryways or when loading your bike into a car.
It's a classic customization for Brompton-type bikes, but also highly compatible with Tern and DAHON-type bikes. The design also isn't overly "folding-bike-like," and its rugged aesthetic is another MKS-like charm.
