COG GOOD CREW CAB 2.0 STEEL|A handlebar bag that compromises neither lightness nor strength
This expandable handlebar bag uses "TECHNOFORCE® STEEL," a 100% ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material, combining lightness with high durability.
From local rides to long tours and bikepacking, COG's popular GOOD CREW CAB 2.0 model can be flexibly used depending on the amount of luggage and your riding style.
This model retains the "CREW CAB" concept, which translates the free-spirited idea of throwing luggage into a US pickup truck into a bicycle bag, but with TECHNOFORCE® STEEL as its material.
TECHNOFORCE® STEEL is a high-performance fabric made from 100% ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), also known as "Izanas®," "Dyneema®," and "Spectra®." It is an astonishingly lightweight material with extremely high tear strength and abrasion resistance.
Furthermore, because it doesn't have a laminated film, it is flexible and easy to handle, and its unique texture is also appealing. The texture, reminiscent of Japanese paper, and the wrinkles and changes in appearance that develop with use deepen one's affection for it as a tool.
The GOOD CREW CAB 2.0 has its front pocket moved inside the bag, improving stability and silhouette when loaded. Using the six webbing straps, even large items like sleeping bags and mats can be securely fastened.
This handlebar bag is for riders who seek both lightness and strength, not just one or the other.

The STEEL model is remarkably light the moment you pick it up. Yet, the fabric has a strong resilience, giving you peace of mind against scuffs and tears.
While possessing the high specs characteristic of UL materials, it is surprisingly soft to the touch, with a unique texture reminiscent of Japanese paper. As you use it, wrinkles and expressions change, making it not just a consumable item but a tool to "grow" with, which is another attractive point.
While it is not a material primarily focused on waterproofing, dry bags and liners are often used in conjunction during actual touring and bikepacking, making this balance of lightness and durability extremely practical. The longer you ride with luggage, the more you will appreciate the quality of this material.
