At our shop, Challenge Tires are well-known for cyclocross tires.
Open tubulars are models that allow you to use the supple performance of tubular tires with clincher tires. They are made using the same process as tubular tires, with the only difference in the final stage being whether they are sewn into a tube shape or have beads embedded in both edges.
Since they are almost identical to tubular tires, the fiber density is 300TPI, which is close to the maximum value for clincher tires.
Another feature is that the tire becomes round not by forming the rubber, but by the inflation of the tube, allowing it to run as if it's perfectly adhering to the road surface.
