GROWN BIKE EVERY Frame Performance

The frame is made of 4130 chromoly, making it a light, flexible, yet rigid frame, even for a minivelo.◎

It runs much more easily than so-called "mamachari" (city bikes) or other city cycles, making it perfect for everyday use, and in Kyoto, we also recommend cycling along the Kamo River, among other activities.

Furthermore, the "staggered frame design" makes it easy to straddle even while wearing a skirt. The wheelbase is longer than popular mini velos, providing excellent stability (a short wheelbase tends to cause wobbling at low speeds).

It also features bottle cage bosses, making it suitable for cycling despite its casual appearance.

It also supports the installation of rear carriers and mudguards (front baskets are also OK), making it a highly customizable model.◎

A somewhat unusual feature is the spring attached from beneath the downtube to the front fork.

This is a thoughtful feature designed to prevent the handlebars from "spinning around" and the bike from tipping over when carrying extra luggage in a front basket.

It features a 1x8 speed Shimano Claris drivetrain. While it's an entry-level road bike component, it's more than sufficient for city riding and a little extra.◎

The front is equipped with a single gear, chain guard, and chain watcher as standard. This prevents the chain from coming off easily and is designed to protect pant hems.◎

The brakes are standard Shimano Capreo V-brakes, offering reliable stopping power and low maintenance risk. They allow for precise brake control with minimal effort, providing peace of mind.◎

The tire size is 20x1.50 inches. This allows for smooth riding in the city, where you're constantly stopping and starting from a standstill.

The rim's nipple holes are reinforced with strong eyelets. With 36 spokes, it's equipped with incredibly durable wheels.◎

The handlebar has a promenade shape, curving back towards the rider. This allows for a relaxed, upright riding posture.
