The frameset, combining a lightweight Stormchaser Aluminum frame with a dedicated carbon fork, masterfully blends the joy of simple single-speed riding with reliable durability for harsh conditions. You can focus on the ride itself, without worrying about mud clogging or shifting issues.
In addition to geometry inherited from the Warbird race model, it features SALSA's unique Class 5™ VRS. This effectively absorbs minor vibrations from the road, maintaining comfort even on rough gravel or long rides.
The sliding Alternator Flat Mount dropouts make single-speed chain tension adjustment easy. Furthermore, by swapping to the included dropout plates, it also supports 1x drivetrains. The freedom to build your own bike for anything from racing to bikepacking and daily adventures is also a major appeal.
