KONA LBF | An adventure machine that transcends drop bar conventions
A bike for serious fun on rough roads and trails, with drop bars.
The KONA LBF is an extremely aggressive drop bar bike born against the backdrop of the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
It's designed for riders who aren't constrained by the "drop bar" category and actively want to tackle gravel, singletrack, and rough trails, significantly expanding their sense of "where they can ride."
Combining the supple ride of a Reynolds 520 chromoly frame with a RockShox SID 100mm suspension fork, it achieves high stability and comfort even on rough surfaces. It effectively absorbs shocks while allowing you to maintain control and keep riding.
The combination of SRAM Apex Eagle drop bar levers and G2 hydraulic disc brakes delivers MTB-level braking power despite having drop bars. Coupled with the high grip of Race Face wide rims and Maxxis tires, it enables a confident ride even on rough descents and trails.
Furthermore, it comes standard with a dropper seat post, allowing you to lower the saddle for unhindered bike control on descents. This is an adventure machine that doesn't stop at paved roads but can venture "deeper" into the unknown.

Among gravel bikes, the KONA LBF is quite "extreme."
The moment you see 100mm suspension on a drop bar bike, its direction becomes quite clear. This model is less about speed on paved roads and more for those who actively want to have fun on gravel and trails.
With a dropper post as standard, you can boldly drop the saddle on descents and throw the bike around like an MTB. It provides the confidence to plunge into rough terrain that typical gravel bikes would shy away from.
The combination of the supple chromoly frame and suspension gives the impression of being less tiring on long rides. I think this is a very interesting bike for those who find typical gravel bikes insufficient and want to ride on rougher paths.
💬 STAFF REVIEW
Honestly, it's a bit on the heavy side for a gravel bike. But it really shines when you think of it as a "drop bar MTB."
With incredible stability, it pushes forward even on rough terrain. It's a bike that excites more than its looks suggest!
