A "Dad Bike" custom-built from a SOMA 29er chromoly frame, customized for commuting.

Featuring a HAMAX child seat and a high-capacity front rack for daycare drop-offs and pickups!

Since it's based on a 29er frame designed for rough terrain, its durability is outstanding◎

Most importantly, the sloped top tube makes it easy to get on and off, even with the HAMAX installed, making it the perfect partner!!

...But this isn't an article about my bike; what I want to introduce is THIS!!

The "VOLT Cromoly" saddle from WTB, highly praised by many riders. I love its thickness and sleek silhouette, which make it suitable for a wide range of uses, from daily commutes to gravel rides.

I bought mine 5-6 years ago, so the design is different from the current model, but the performance is still just as GOOD◎

After riding this SOMA for over 10 years, it's been repeatedly customized as a bike for picking up and dropping off my child, leading to a more upright posture and a commuter position that puts stress on the backside...

The previous saddle couldn't handle it, neither my bottom nor the saddle itself... forcing a replacement.

The "WTB VOLT" was my choice for the second saddle.

Unlike a racing saddle, it significantly reduces discomfort to the bottom while offering a fit that doesn't hinder pedaling.

After 5-6 years of daily commuting, its durability is outstanding, showing no signs of wear and tear◎

Rather than wearing out, it feels more like it's developing a "well-used" character, and my fondness for it seems to grow each year!

This is a super versatile saddle, highly recommended for riders who use their daily bike for everything from everyday commuting to cycling, gravel rides, cross-country, and more!

Even if this one breaks down, I'd probably choose a WTB saddle again!!
